| SESSION GOAL: Students will understand that we can have hope because the non-violent Lamb of God is the conqueror of this chaotic world. SESSION OBJECTIVES: By the end of this session, the students will: • Hear explanations for some of the confusing symbolism in the passage. • Identify things that cause them to feel a lack of hope and to be discouraged. • Create visual reminders of the hope they have because of Christ’s example and sacrifice. MATERIALS NEEDED AND ADVANCE PREPARATION: 1 CD with song “We Will Dance” 2 Chalk/Marker Board 3 Bibles for everyone 4 Small Crosses—one per student 5 Thin White Ribbons—one per student 6 Red Sharpies 7 If you have musically talented students, contact them a week before class and ask them to write a song based on the songs of the Lamb [v. 9,10; 12b; 13b].
