| MATERIALS AND ADVANCE PREPARATION: 1 Copies of With Magazine, Winter 2006 issue, or copies of the story printed below, one for each student. 2 Small boxes--one for each person 3 Scissors SESSION OUTLINE FOCUS: Invite students to pick a box when they arrive in the classroom. Ask them to consider this question: Are you inside the box, or outside the box, and why? Don’t give any other explanation--encourage students to interpret it the way they wish. Invite students to share their responses, allowing them the freedom to pass if they don’t want to share. CONNECT WITH A STORY: Hand out copies of the story “Is He Worth Your Time?” (or the With Magazine with the story on page 15) and ask students to read it quietly to themselves. Ask students think about the following: 1 Who do you relate to the most in this storyAndrew, Trent, Karla, or those who didn’t know how to relate to Trent? 2 Who’s in the box, and who’s outside of the box in this story?
