| OPENING SKIT Characters and props: • Teenager dressed as an old person in outdated clothes. (Teenager is called “she” in this script but could be either male or female.) • Adult dressed as a contemporary teenager. (Adult is called “he” in this script but could be either male or female.) • Ipod or CD player and headset • Cell phone • Laptop • Someone to call the adult’s cell phone Adult walks slowly across stage, wearing the Ipod, carrying the lap top, checking for text message on phone. Adult isn’t looking where he’s walking. Teenager approaches adult from other direction. Teen taps adult on shoulder and says “Excuse me?” Adult looks up: Huh? Teen: Do you have a minute? Adult checks time on cell phone: Uh, sure. Teen: I was just wondering. Can I see that skinny box? Adult shrugs: I suppose. Adult hands lap top to teenager. Teen can‘t figure out how to open lap top. Adult: Need help? Teen: Sure. Adult opens lap top. Continued... |
