| BRAINSTORM: Divide into small groups again and brainstorm how God might communicate with people in a high tech fashion. What kinds of amazing things would God use? Write the ideas or draw illustrations about them on the newsprint. Bring the groups together and share the lists. REFLECT: Discuss: What message has God been communicating to humanity, from the beginning until now and into the future. No matter how it’s said, what is God saying? Make a list of what God has, is, and will continue to say. RESPOND: Ask youth to contemplate this question: If God could put a message into your iPod that you would hear over and over, what would you want to hear? Optional: invite youth to share their answers but with the option to pass. This will depend on your group and the trust level you have within the group. You may want to set up one-on-one times to meet with your youth and hear their thoughts on this question, because it can give some insights on what is happening inside their lives and hearts. |
