"IN JESUS' NAME" by Tony Doehrmann
YOUTH GROUP LESSON 73
KEY VERSE:
Acts 3:6
But Peter said, “I have no silver or gold, but what I have I give you; in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, stand up and walk.”

FAITH STORY:
Acts 3:1-10

FAITH FOCUS:
A lame man begs Peter and John for a handout. This provides an opportunity for the man to receive more than he could have imagined. The story reveals how the name of Jesus is related to healing power. We will learn that a man who had to be carried to the Temple is “walking, leaping, and praising God” in the sight of all who are gathered there. But the power of Jesus’ name impacts more than just the lame man; “all the people were filled with wonder and amazement”.
